The power of silence

Potschochter loves silence from the bottom of his heart.
That is why he often seeks places where he can be alone and is not surrounded by other people.
Enduring silence is a very stressful thing to some people I guess, because
when there are no noises or distractions around, one is thrown back to his inner self.
Your thoughts acquire volume and you cannot ignore tham any longer.
As mankind already knows thoughts are to blame for ones emotions.
So if the silence you experience is threatening to you,
it is maybe because you nourish bad, or better said, not very helpful thoughts.
But it is possible to nourish pampering thoughts.
Yesterday a friend of Potschocher told him that it would be good for Potschochter
to allow God to love Potschochter. Potschochter did not know what to do with this sentence.
But today in the morning during the silence, he started to realize what
Potschochter's friend could probably have meant by telling Potschochter this strange sentence.
Potschochter tends to be hard on himself,
he is used to hide and not to be seen due to his upbringing in a restaurant, where children were considered to be
disturbing. So Potschochter's most important rule in his childhood was not to bee seen, nor to be heard, because the guests wanted to relax.
Potschochter is grown up now, but still he unconsiously follows this rule learnt as a kid.
But know God entered Potschochter's life. God even called Potschochter by his name.
God wants to see Potschochter, he even wants to hear Potschochter. Finally Potschochter is seen and heard by God.
Maybe this is what Potschochter's friend meant by saying,"Potschochter, allow God to love you!"
Potschochter is loved by a God far greater than anyone can imagine.
Wow, realizing the power of knowing to be loved by God is really strengthening.
It gives hope, because God promised to never leave Potschochter'S side.
So knowing that God is with Potschochter, Potschochter is able to face anything.

Potschochter once read a slogan he likes a lot.

Don't tell your God how big your problems are,
but tell your problems how big your God is.

Let this sink in.

Take careand God bless

Potschochter's vessel
