long time no see, or better, no read.
Well, Potschochter has taken a very much needed rest after all those excting happenings during the last few weeks before his finals. Well it turned out that Potschochter got his diploma without any final questionnaire, due to this pandemic.
On one side Potschochter nearly exploded with joy. But on the other hand, he now questions himself whether he would have been able to pass the questionnaire if it had taken place. All of his friends told him that it was obvious that he would have passed, because of his good grades during the last two years. But Potschochter does not really think the same. This is one topic that really bothers Potschochter.
Another miracle happened in Potschochter'S life. Maybe it was caused by this third lockdown. Potscochter finally found a way to take a quick peek into his hubby's heart. Yes the had a wonderful time together that could nearly be compared to
honeymoon. Okay Potschochter and his hubby reached an age where they both have to try to adopt to bodily changes. But his offers a new way of spending time together that is really appreciated by Potschochter.
Today Potschochter really had an eye-opening moment. It was late morning, nearly midday.
Potschochter had the idea of taking his younger daughter out for a walk, just to get some fresh air and to straighten her thoughts about an issue that really was upsetting her. So the sky was blue and the sun was shining its best. But what happend to Potschochter as they passed couples holding hands and going for a walk together and on top of it they were chatting. Instantly Potschochter's heart started aching as he watched those happy people holding hands and chatting. Unconciously Potschochter started to compare his relationship with the outsides of other relationships that were displayed by holding hands and chatting.
Potschochter instantly started to feel miserable because he would never be able to walk hand in hand with his hubby.
Going for a walk is like punishment for his hubby, and chatting is worse to Potschochter's hubby. Potschochter's brains started to do their fucking without any pity. Thoughts like "Release your hubby and never try to feel close to him again,
for you will always get disappointed. Guard your heart by never attempting to open it again for your spouse. Start to look into the future. You do not need him."
All those thoughts were swirrling around in Potschochter's head nearly taking away his breath by tightening his throat. So they decided to go back home to avoid the sight of happy couples.
The very moment Potschochter entered the house a warm and appetizing smell filled the air. Potschochter's spouse was preparing a meal for today, because his spouse is a very keen hobby cook.
Dear old Potschochter needed to release his old bladder and grabbed his phone just to take a look, if there was somone who had tried to reach him.The only thing he saw was a status posted by a relly nice person who gets admired by Potschochter a lot.
This quote said: "Let your life be impressed by gratitude, for this is the royal way to joy". This really had hit him right away. This is so true. Potschochter realized how blessed he actually is by being married to a spouse who likes to cook and naturally cares for for the meals when he is at home. All those bad thoughts that were turning his brains up and down vanished instantly and his heart was captured by warmth, gratitude and feelings of blessing.
On top of this Potschochter felt a little voice inside saying,
"Hi Potschochter, here is Jesus.
Why didn't you ask me to take a walk with you? Maybe you did not feel it but I was holding your hand while you watched those couples.
I will never leave your side."
So what have been the lessons Potschochter has learned today?
First of all, never compare your life to the displayed lives of others.
Second, keep a heart of gratitude and try to avoid any longings.
Last but not least, you can always ask Jesus to go for a walk with you.
