Lessons taught by a cucumber plant

Hi folks

As I promised I am to keep you on track concerning Potschochter's life.

Potschochter is a kind of guy who needs pictures to understand things going on in his life.

First of all let us focus on this job Potschochter was brave enough to apply for.

It turned out that this lady really wants to get to know how Potschochter reacts in a prefessional surrounding.

Yesterday this lady and Potschochter signed an agreement on how many hours a week he is going to spend training

the skills he is going to need just in case this starting prefessional relationship would be lasting.

Potschochter is really excited about this outcome.

Potschochter's new hobby deals with hydroponics. So he acquired all the necessities for starting out in hydroponics.

As a starter Potschochter picked the so-called Kratky method. Anyone who wants to know more about it. Just go and google it.

Well he tried to grow cucumbers, basil, chilli and several different herbs.

But let me focus on those cucumbers.

They did well during the first few weeks.

But then the moment Potschochter thought to get them outdoors, the wind came and bent those very leggy seedlings.

Unfortunately Potschochter has no picture of them before he has set them outdoors. So there is no evidence available to be shared.

The steel got bent and kind of brownish where it was bent. So Potschochter decided to start another experiment.

There ware two seedlings. He had cut them right above the spot where the seedlings were bent.

One seedling had two knots where tiny leaves where coming out of the steel. The other one had only one knot.

So he placed them both into a tiny glass of water, just to figure out whether they would survive.

The one who merely had one knot that was placed above the water level died.

But the one who hat one knot above the water level and the other one beneath surprisingly has shot out roots.

As you can see on the pic, the leaves where the red arrow is pointing at had grown before it got broken by the wind.

And those tiny roots the blue arrow is pointing at emerged after being set into the water.

So what is the lesson Potschochter learned from this experience?

Everyone out there who kind of knows Potschochter a bit, knows that Potschochter has a strong faith.

Potschochter sees himself in this tiny plant.

He tends to compare the time of having been enrolled into college for potschertronics to the time a seed spends within a fixed tempered and moistured surrounding,

where those seeds have time to germinate.

Then those seedlings get set into a different surrounding without a dome over them. This is the time where little wind is useful to enhance the growth of the roots.

But when the wind gets to strong, this seedling gets broken. So was Potschochter when he got one rejection after the other.

Then- the way Potschochter feels it - God came to rescue him, like he did with this tiny cucumber seedling.

God came to place Potschochter in a professional surrounding where he has the opportunity to grow roots of knowledge.

There is a verse who popped right into Potschochters mind the instant moment he had discovered those tiny roots.

It is from the Holy Bible saying:

"Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert."

(Isaiah 43:19 AMP)

What a wonderful promise God has put into Potschochter's heart. Sometimes Potschochter views his life on earth like a game.

As a christian Potschochter knows that he has already won this game due to Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. So this knowledge kind of takes the stress out of his life.

So Potschochter has the freedom of staying curious about his future and what God has planned for him.

So everyone out there reading this - come to terms with yourself and maintain a sound mind.

Blessings
