Hi folks
It has been quite a long time since Potschochter has uttered even a single word.
Potschochter has got the opportunity to try his wings out in a half-time-job.
He really does not know how this miracle was born.
Nonetheless Potschochter got acquainted with lots of very nice women.
Sometimes he feels like he is living in some kind of bubble, where he feels save.
He is grateful for this job though it is for a determined period of time.
Maybe he will learn to gain some self-confidence through this process.
He even has to learn to be kind to himself and realize that life is lived one day at a time.
Potschochter got himself an app where he writes down every single achievement of the day and things he is grateful for.
He does this on a daily basis.
To be honest, the last half of 2021 was very struggling to Potschochter.
But due to a friend who had an open-hearted honest talk to Potschochter,
he summed up all his will-power to endure those feelings of sitting in a truck and being stuck in the midst of mud.
And it is important to mention, that it is night time and misty.
So I guess everyone can relate to those feelings.
Babysteps. One step at a time. One insight into the compelxity of his work place at a time.
Potschochter is very patient by nature dealing with other humans.
He still has to learn to apply this patience onto himself.
This is a rocky road ahead of him.
But a new year has just begun and there are sparks of hope on the horizon for Potschochter.
Potschochter has even managed to celebrate tiny goals.
The fear-of-failure has kept to be Potschochter's most loyal friend though.
But Potschochter is on the way to learn that this "friend" is just
like a nasty little mosquito that has no power over Potschochter's mind.
Potschochter really wants to do his tasks well. That is why he takes so much time for doing things.
Because he double and triple checks every step he takes during one shift just trying to avoid committing any mistakes.
He has to admit that he is torn between curiousity to try new things but gets hold back by his most loyal friend, called fear-of-failure.
Thank heavens Potschochter has a very human kind of boss, who obviously has chosen Potschochter, because he has been away from work far too long.
And his boss wants to help him to return into the big world of the working kind.
So Potschochter is really greatful for this chance. In addition to this, Potschochter's work place is in the same town he lives in.
So whatever the future holds in store for Potschochter he is grateful for the past few months.
Just reading those lines Potschochter feels his English starts to perish.
This is a further topic he wants to change in his life. He wants to commit to writing a weekly blog post, just to keep his English vivid.
