It has been quite a while since you've had the opportunity to read about dear old Potschochter.

 

Today has started quite weird.

First, Potschochter's boss peeked in and looked at him with a smile that Potschochter could not interpret in a proper way. So he pushed it aside and concentrated on his work, trying to update an excel sheet dealing with invitations sent and who wants to join the party.

It is not easy to keep it really up to date. But this is a different topic.

A sudden call pulled him out of his concentration. It was the nice guy Potschochter loves to connect with. To keep it short.

Potschochter tried to write a mail but he got it back. Strange!
It turned out that Potschochter read a mailadress from a hard copy. The mails domain looked like it had an i in its domain.

But this error was perfect  because it forced dear old, shy, insecure  and introverted Potschochter out of his comfort zone. He had to grab his mobile to call.
During this conversation Potschochter asked whether  this invoice had a proper mail on it because it had come back to Potschochter.

The guy on the phone instantly was of help.
If Potschochte had used his brains while adressing the mail, he ealisly would have been able to find out that this "i" had to be  "1". Due to this call, the problem-analysis was of shorter term. 

 

The next happening today was a really awkward call concearning a modem.

Potschochter asked a guy from a company who manages the IT of the company Potschochter works for,  whether he would harm the workflow if he connected to the modem with his laptop. Now Potschochter is so embarassed, because he could not reacall the real "anatomy" of a modem. He simply had the schematics of a network before his inner eyes. These schematics inside Potschochter's brains merely  contained one line connecting a modem with the firewall..
This guy on the phone surely had a big laugh with Potschochter. But honestly, so did Potschcohter about himself, as well, after examining the modem with his own eyes.

So dear, non existent audience:

Behold: The best laugh is about oneself!!! Life is too short to take it too serious.
